Dakota Mayi Johnson (Austin, Texas, October 4, 1989) is an American actress and model. She is known for her role in the American television series, Ben and Kate FOX. She is the daughter of actors Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith. Now also known as Anastasia Steele in the movie 50 shades of gray to star alongside Jamie Dornan model.

Biography
Dakota Johnson was born in Austin, Texas. She is the daughter of actors Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith. She is the granddaughter of actress Tippi Hedren.
He attended the Community College of Aspen, Colorado. As a child she was an avid dancer. It started as a model at the age of twelve when they took a picture with other children for Teen Vogue.

In 1999, only 10 years, made his first film debut in the film Crazy in Alabama, where she and her half-sister, Stella del Carmen, performed to the two daughters of Melanie Griffith. His stepfather Antonio Banderas directed the film.
He won the award of Miss Golden Globe in 2006, which became the first woman in the second generation of Miss Golden Globe in the history of the Golden Globes.
He participated in the David Fincher film The Social Network (2010), where he acted in a scene with Justin Timberlake. The film won eight Oscars nominations, including one for Best Picture. He closed his Facebook profile because he did not like being in that social network, although its origins were told in the film.
In 2010 he starred in the short film All That Glitters directed by Bret Easton Ellis.
In 2014 the film Cymbeline, a play by William Shakespeare, in which he plays Imogen, Cymbeline's daughter and wife of Leonato be released, also appears in the film with Milla Jovovich.
On 2 September 2013 the author of the trilogy Fifty Shades of Grey (EL James) confirmed that the actress would play Anastasia Steele in the movie of the same title in February with actor Jamie Dornan.

Between September 25, 2012 and March 18, 2013 he participated in 16 episodes of the series and Ben Kate.1 The story focuses on the lives of two very different brothers. Dakota plays Kate Fox, a young working mother and deals with the education of their young daughter.

In 2009 she worked as a model for the jeans brand MANGO.
When he graduated from high school, Dakota was hired by the William Morris Agency and began her acting career.
